Test hard disk bad sector.

Many people say that how we know about hard disk bad sector? How many bad sector in my Hard disk. What is status?

Turn on computer with keyboard

Generally we start computer pressing system box power button.  Some time faulty system box power button arise computer starting problem.  You can turn on computer help of keyboard.

Turn on PC within 15 seconds

1)    Click on start menu click on Run option.

2)    Type Regedit & press ok.

3)    Now  HKEY_LOACAL_MECHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control to click on ContentIndex.

4)    Search out Startup delay option and Double click on it.

5)    Now click on Decimal.

6)    Now give the value 40000 place of 4800000.

7)    Now stop Registery Editor & Restart PC.

How to make PC faster.

Many windows XP user complaint that their computer is very slow. Today I give you some tips about how to fast your computer? I think following settings will help you.

Follow the steps are given below –

Go to start menu and open run (or windows key + R)

Write here resent than press enter. A New window will open. Delete all file from this window. Same way open again run and write here %temp%, temp, prefetch one by one and press enter and delete all files.

After deleting those files Right click on My computer click on properties option. Then click on advance tab. Now click on performance to setting button.  Performance options named a window will open. Now click on adjust for best performance Radio Button then press ok.

Same way you go again my computer>right mouse button click>properties>advanced>performance setting>adjust for best performance Radio Button.

Now tick mark those Command: - Use common tasks in folders, Use drop shadows for icon levels on the desktop, Use visual styles on windows and buttons.

Now your work is startup clean.

Follow those step :- run-> write msconfig-> click on startup tab -> click on disable all button -> apply to press ok. Restart machine. After restarting a dialog box will open. Tick mark don’t show me again then click ok.

Increase net browsing speed.

1.    First right click on Start menu. Then click on run and type regedit then click on ok. Now registry window will run.

2.    Search HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

3.    Goto Software, Microsoft.

4.    Goto windows.

5.    Goto current version.

6.    Goto Explorer option.

7.    Than go remote computer

8.    Go namespace key.

9.    Now You found two value.

1st Value is ‘{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}’ it is for connecting remote computer with sharing Printer.

2^nd value is ‘{D6277990-4C6A-11cf-8D87-00AA0060F5BF} its call schedule remote Task. Right Click on the second value and Delete it. Internet Browsing will grow up.

If you no need sharing printer than delete 1^st value. Internet Browsing will more grow up.

Computer hardware Problem & Solution

•

Problem: -  after turn on computer CPU will over heated. If you connect pen drive or modem its will be over heated.

Solution: - Problem is in your Motherboard’s connecter cables. Open all connecter cable from Motherboard. And reconnect all cable.  If problem is not solved please consult with computer service center.

Problem: -  When I turn on my computer it will automatic shut down after 15 second. And it will restart also after some time.

Solution: - Your power supply is faulty. Change your power supply. And open your processor cooling fan and attach cooling paste with cooling fan.

Problem: -  I have no UPS. It wills any problem for my computer.

Solution: -  Yes when your computer improper shut down due to Main power failure. It will make some pressure on your computer parts. And voltage fluctuation is a cause of Hardware parts damages.  So use UPS for solve those problem.

Problem: -  When I run Video files it will not run properly.  Sometime it will stop. Sometime Sound and Video not match.

Solution: -  Your CD or DVD Drive is low quality. Replace a high quality CD or DVD Drive. If problem not solve change your Media player.

Problem: - When I want save some files a message shown “low disk space”.  But My Computer has sufficient space.

Solution: -   Delete unnecessary files from your hard drive. Or run disk cleanup Command for clean Hard disk. Sometime virus cans those kinds of problems. Run updated antivirus & remove virus from your computer.

Problem: -  My computer stated very slowly. Some time it hangs out.

Solution: -  Your RAM maybe not works properly. Open RAM from slot and clean it and insert again. If problem not solved reinstall Operating system.

Stop Auto run your computer…

1)      Start Menu > click on Run option & Type gpedic.msc press Enter button.

2)      Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Click on System.

3)      In right site double click on “ Turn off autoplay”.

4)      After Selecting Enabled select All Drives from Turn off autoplay .

5)      Apply > than press ok.

For windows 7

1)      Start Menu > Search Programs & Type gpedit.msc press enter button.

2)      Computer Configure > Administrative Templates >  Windows components > Click on Autoplay Policies

3)      In right site double click on “ Turn off autoplay”.

4)      After Selecting Enabled select All Drives from Turn off autoplay .

5)      Apply > ok than press ok

Start > Control panel > All control panel Items >  Click on Autoplay

Without Ripper Rip your Audio CD (In Linux).

Generally Audio CD to Hard disk direct copy is Impossible. We use ripper for convert mp3 to another format. For ripping we use in Linux sound juicer, Asunder CD Ripper, k3b etc. If ripper are not Install in our computer. What can we do? Today I give you some another way for ripping. For ripping another way we need lamp ( for mp3) & flac ( for flac format) install in our PC.

How to rip:-

1)     First you insert CD into CD Drive than copy wav file to another folder.

2)     We think this folder location in desktop. & folder name is myripl

3)     Now by command of terminal cd  go to folder.

In this case Code is :-

cd Desktop/myrip/

Now you run command :-

For mp3:-

for f in *.wav; do lame -b 160 -q 0 "$f" "${f%.wav}.mp3"; done

You can use alternatively 96,112,118,192,256,320 in place of 160.

For flac :-

for f in *.wav; do flac --best  "$f" "${f%.wav}.flac"; done

without ripper your ripping is finished. After ripping delete wav files from folder.

N.B. when you rip files CD is necessary in CD drive.
