To make a low cost domestic inverter you will need the following materials:-
1. Inverter cabinet
2. A step down transformer 12V. 3AMP.
3. One waste/unused UPS battery.
4. 2/4 Diet and a capacitor of 25v, 2200uf
5. one rile(auto cut).
6. One on/off switch & socket.
7. One inverter kit, one AC code and CFL Bulb (bulb watt is according to kit).
At first attest transformer, Inverter kit &, on/off switch & socket gently on the cabinet. Now develop the filter stage with capacitor & diet and join them to transformer output. Now you will get + and - volt. Now join two wires (positive & negative) from transformer to the coil point of rile. Now out of 5 point of rile 3 will be free. Connect battery’s positive connection to the isolated point. Among this two points connect one point to transformer positive output & another to positive input of inverter kit(connect in such a way that if transformer gives current that battery should get connected with transformer output otherwise to the input of inverter kit). Connect the negative output of transformer to the battery as well as inverter kit. Now connect the kit's output to the socket through switch. Now connect CFL to the socket and turn the switch on.
(As I have suggested for damaged battery so recharge the battery with proffer solution i.e. H2SO4 solution)
If you keep your inverter connected to the main line than at the time of loadshedding CFL will automatically glow up.
This inverter can be made with approximately Rs - 300-400. This is the equivalent to $7 to $8.
